2015 State Tournament Results

  Grand Rapids fell to Eden Prairie (who is going on to a regional) and a tough Princeton team.  Moose Lake went 1-1 in pool play, played well enough to earn the wild card draw, avenged an earlier loss to La Cresent, but fell in the championship 6-2 to Foley.  Moose Lake will join Foley in the DII Regional held in Le Sueur MN this week.

Champions Crowned in District 8 & Sub State 10

Champions were crown in both DI Sub State 10 and DII District 8 on Sunday 7/26/15

In Hibbing, Grand Rapids opened up a close game late and defeated Hibbing 12-4.  Grand Rapids advances to the Legion DI State Tournament in Chanhassen and will take on Eden Prairie in the first round.

In Deer River, Moose Lake lost to International Falls in the first game 4-2, then rebounded early in route to a 13-0 win to to the District 8 DII title.  Moose Lake will head to the DII State Tournament in Morris and play LaCresent and host Morris in their pool play.

Pitching made a comeback on Day Three as scores lowered and games were close.

Championship is set for Sunday 7/26/15 at 1pm Grand Rapids v Hibbing.  Hibbing would have to win twice as Grand Rapids remains undefeated.
