In a busy day at Ordean Field in East Duluth, Grand Rapids came away as the district champ and will represent District 8 at the State Tournament in Chaska. Results were as follows:
Hermantown 5 Proctor 3 (completion of game suspended because of rain Thursday night)
Hermantown 10 Lakeview 5
Grand Rapids 17 Hermantown 2
